Matt Reeves: the second season of the Batman: Caped Crusader is likely to be released in 2025

On 1 August 2024, the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader, inspired by the style of the 40s. It received 95% freshness from critics and only 56% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. And Matt Reeves, who is a co-author of the project, told us more about the creation of Season 2.

The team is currently in the process of animation, and all the episodes have been written. We are on the way to start producing the show, Reeves said. At the same time, the author noted that news about the creation of Season 3 may appear very soon.

As for the premiere of the second season, Reeves did not provide a clear answer, but said the following: "I think it will be 2025, not 2026. But I don't really have an answer to that question."

So fans can only believe that they will be able to watch the show next year.
