Google introduces Gemini for voice notifications on Pixel Buds Pro 2

Google has announced a notification update for Pixel Buds Pro 2 that includes the new Gemini feature.

Here's What We Know

Currently, the only voice notifications available on your headphones come from messaging apps. However, Gemini's new "Announce Notifications on Earbuds" feature will make it easier to interact with apps like Google Messages, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.

Google intends to significantly improve the notification system by introducing organised voice messages that focus on the most important notifications for users.

Google is also removing the ability to tap and hold to read notifications on the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Now, to find out about notifications, users simply need to say, "Hey Google, I have a notification."
