Huawei opens orders for MatePad 12 X and MatePad Pro 12.2 tablets

Huawei has started taking orders for two new tablets, the MatePad 12 X and MatePad Pro 12.2. The devices were introduced in September and are already available in Europe and the UK.

Both tablets feature high-quality displays and a slim design.
The MatePad Pro 12.2, with a 12-inch OLED display, is positioned as a competitor to the iPad Pro 13, which currently costs about $1,248. Huawei has priced its tablet at £699.99 in the UK and €999 in Europe.
The MatePad 12 X has a 12-inch 2.8K LCD display and starts at €648, but in some European countries, its price can reach €748.
The Mate XT tablet, which was announced earlier, is not yet available internationally and is not expected to be available until 2025.
