Insider: Xiaomi is working on making its smartphones compatible with Apple Watch, AirPods and HomePods
Users of devices with Android and other operating systems can't use gadgets from Apple, but one of the major smartphone manufacturers wants to change this situation.

According to a Digital Chat Station insider on Chinese social network Weibo, Xiaomi wants to make its smartphones compatible with Apple devices, specifically the Apple Watch, AirPods and HomePod. Most likely, Xiaomi will leverage its own companion app or develop a new programme to do so.
Unfortunately, the insider did not reveal the details of Xiaomi's plans, but given the huge popularity of smartphones from this manufacturer and the demand for devices from Apple, it would be a great collaboration. Plus, it could create a trend of opening up Apple's ecosystem to other Android device makers as well.
