"Tens of thousands of drones": UAV deliveries from the Drone Coalition will begin in January 2025
The supply of UAVs from the international 'Drone Coalition' to Ukraine will begin in January 2025. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defence of the United Kingdom, Luke Pollard, during a speech in the House of Commons, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.
Here's What We Know
It is about the supply of 'tens of thousands' of drones of various types. The UK is coordinating efforts within the Ramstein format and working with other countries to accelerate the supply of weapons to Ukraine and increase Russia's costs of war.
'I can confirm that there will be a significant change in January when we will start delivering tens of thousands of drones through the maritime and unmanned systems coalitions that the UK is leading with our partners Norway and Latvia,' explained Pollard.

In 2024, the 'Drone Coalition' allocated €1.8 billion to support Ukraine. The association includes 17 countries, including the UK, the US, France, Poland, Australia, and Ukraine. The aim of the initiative is to create a technological advantage over the enemy by expanding drone production.
The Drone Coalition Foundation regularly holds tenders for the development of innovative solutions. For example, Ukrainian companies were ranked second in terms of the number of applications submitted, which indicates the high potential of the Ukrainian drone industry.
