In the early summer of 2024, Bethesda and id Software studio announced DOOM: The Dark Ages - a new part of the legendary shooter series, which will be a kind of prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal.

The developers presented just one trailer and that's where the information about the game ended. But insiders come to the rescue

Here's What We Know

A reputable insider eXtas1s reported that at the January Xbox Developer Direct show (which has not even been officially announced yet) Microsoft will hold a demonstration of DOOM: The Dark Ages. The informant is confident that the shooter's release date will be announced during the event and points to May 2025.

DOOM has a huge fan base and The Dark Ages will be one of the main novelties of 2025, but don't rush to take a holiday for May, because no matter how reputable insider eXtas1s is - you should wait for the official announcement.

Doom: The Dark Ages will be released on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, as well as Game Pass.
