This artillery system has already demonstrated its effectiveness in real-world combat during the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war. According to open sources, the Polish government has transferred 54 Krab howitzers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In addition, in June 2020, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine signed a commercial contract with Huta Stalowa Wola for PLN 2.7 billion (approximately €600 million) for 56 Krab self-propelled howitzers to be delivered to the Ukrainian army by mid-2024.
