Spectacular battles and iconic characters: a new gameplay trailer of mobile action-RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is presented
The developers of the high-tech mobile action-RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad presented a new gameplay trailer, which introduces the viewers to the main mechanics of the game.
Here's What We Know
The main focus in the trailer, as in the game, is on spectacular battles with soldiers, bandits, wild animals and White Walkers.
In terms of combat system Game of Thrones: Kingsroad resembles most of the popular action games, including modern Assassin's Creed parts: the hero can use different types of melee weapons, shoot from a bow, climb obstacles and hills, move on horseback, accept quests on the noticeboard and search for hidden items in the spacious open world.
Flashback
The game is being created on Unreal Engine 5, and its story will unfold in parallel with the fourth season of the series.
Players will create their own character and make history at House Tyr, meeting iconic Game of Thrones characters including Jon Snow, Cersei, Jaime, Olenna Tyrell and Lord Varys.
The hero will take part in large-scale battles and get into the centre of political strife in Westeros, but the main danger remains the White Walkers, who will soon break out from behind the Wall.
The main emphasis in Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is on dynamic battles.
The player can choose one of three character classes - Mercenary, Knight and Assassin and each of them has unique abilities.
When We Can Expect It
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is expected to release in 2025 on PC, iOS and Android.
On 16 January, closed beta testing for the game will begin in the US, Canada and parts of Europe.
