In Sea of Thieves Season 15, players will face two fearsome Megalodons: developer unveils new content trailer
Rare presented a trailer of the 15th season of the popular pirate online game Sea of Thieves, in which it revealed the main innovations.
Here's What We Know
In the fifteenth season, which starts on 20 February on all platforms, players will face two new Megalodons - Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread.
The former is capable of setting ships on fire and exploding, so it's worth keeping your distance from it, while the latter is covered in thick coral armour and can only be defeated if you can knock its shell off. The Shell Terror is also able to strike with electricity and summon hostile creatures aboard your ship.
In Sea of Thieves there will be some additional non-aggressive aquatic creatures.
The developers will significantly update the faction "Brotherhood of Hunters": players will be able to join this organisation, become their emissaries, go under their flag and, by completing quests, to gain reputation faster.
"Brotherhood of Hunters" will give quests related to fishing, the places for which will be marked with bubbles on the water.
Later in Season 15, wild boars will appear to guard treasure, as well as seagulls, lizards, jellyfish, and players will be given throwing spears for hunting.
