The next game in the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill f, has not been classified in Australia by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.

Here's What We Know

The organisation itself did not specify a specific reason, limiting itself to the wording: "For more information on the reasons for this decision, please contact us."

This is not something new for Australia, as numerous games are often not classified due to violence or other sensitive themes. In addition to intense violence and gore, Silent Hill f also tackles heavy social issues such as torture, bullying, child abuse, gender discrimination, and drug-induced hallucinations.

Where To Play

Silent Hill f will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game will also have support for PlayStation 5 Pro.

When We Can Expect It

The game's release date has not yet been announced.
