Spa Europe is not sleeping. In the Czech Republic's Marianske Lazne, the Centralni Lazne hotel (4 stars, to be sure) has become the first in the world to entrust its visitors to an artificial intelligence massage robot. The new "helping hand" is called Anna, and it doesn't just massage - it reads your body like you would the subtitles to your favourite TV series.

The Rocozyer robot (the name sounds like an advert for soft blankets, but let it be) can combine classics with technology: it massages mechanically and then turns on radio wave therapy. It's like a two-in-one: it relaxes the muscles and adds collagen. It also tightens the skin. Well, at least that's what Ensana's chief physiotherapist, Dominik Mach, says.

Anna has six flexible joints (which is already more than some of our friends have after office work) and real-time 3D imaging to see everything in the palm of your hand. The AI analyses the guest's body, adapts to individual characteristics and performs the procedure with the precision of a Swiss watch.

Ensana Health Spa Hotels, which launched Anna, operates in 6 European countries, has 28 hotels, and has long wanted to combine "tradition with progress". Their approach is said to be not just a massage, but a real healing based on natural sources, medicine and modern diagnostics.

Will Anna replace human masseurs? Not yet, no. But if she also brings tea to the room, there is a reason to think about it.
