The "king of night photography" - Oppo Find X8 Ultra flagship smartphone with an impressive array of cameras and great features has been unveiled

The official presentation of the flagship smartphone Oppo Find X8 Ultra took place in China, which will be a serious competitor to such premium gadgets as iPhone 16 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Huawei Mate 70 Pro and Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

As with all the above models, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra focuses on a great set of cameras, with Hasselblad specialists involved in the creation of the module.
The main camera of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra has four modules with 50 MP sensors:
- the main module has a wide-angle lens with a Sony LYT-900 inch sensor;
- the ultra-wide-angle lens is a fast lens with an aperture of F/1.8;
- the periscope module with 6x optical zoom uses a 1/1.95″ optical format sensor;
- F/3.1 aperture lens.
Oppo assures that this camera set provides excellent shooting quality and emphasises that the smartphone will be great for night photography and video, calling the Oppo Find X8 Ultra "the king of night photography".
As for the specifications of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, they are also on the high side.
The smartphone has got:
- 6.82″ AMOLED display with 2K resolution, adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and peak brightness of 1600 nits;
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, made on 3nm process technology;
- 6100 mAh battery with support for fast charging (100W wired and 50W wireless);
- 12/256GB, 16/512GB and 16GB/1TB memory configurations;
- IP68/IP69 waterproofing;
- Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC support;
- the top-end version supports satellite connectivity.
The smartphone also gets a customisable button on the body that can be used for quick access to various features, such as the camera or voice recorder.








The price of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra depends on the storage capacity (in terms of RMB):
- 12/256GB - $889;
- 16/512GB - $957;
- 16GB/1TB - $1095.
The smartphone will go on sale in China on 16 April, while the global launch date is still unknown.
