Xiaomi We finally waited: Redmi Note 8 got the stable version of MIUI 12.5 on Android 11. But it wasn't without bad news either. The manufacturer has banned some users from testing MIUI 12.5. And the reason turned out to be quite strange.
What happened?
Xiaomi is releasing test builds of the shell almost every day as part of its closed beta testing program. But the company has excluded some users from the project for not once evaluating the firmware during the past week.
This infuriated many beta testers. Some of them have been participating in the Closed Beta program for more than a year. Disgruntled users have started writing to Xiaomi's CEO on Weibo, but he has yet to comment on the situation.
