Confirmed: Moto G50 5G (Saipan) will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor
The yet unannounced Moto G50 5G smartphone, codenamed Saipan, has been spotted in the Geekbench performance test database.
What is known
The report confirms Moto G50 5G (Saipan) declassified before the announcement: MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, triple 48 MP camera, NFC and 4700 mAh battery. The device will get a MediaTek Dimensity 700 (MT6833V) processor under the hood. For those not in the know, it's a 7nm SoC with a built-in 5G modem and two 2.2GHz ARM Cortex-A76 performance cores as well as six 2.0GHz power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores. According to Geekbench, the chip will be paired with 4GB of RAM.
No other details about the Moto G50 5G (Saipan) in Geekbench, but if we believe previous leaks, the novelty is also equipped with a triple camera with 48 MP main sensor, a single 13 MP front-facing camera, 4,700 mAh battery, NFC-module, side scanner and a headphone jack. The smartphone will be announced as early as in the coming days.
