PayPal has officially granted cryptocurrency access to its customers in the UK
Online payment system PayPal has officially allowed its UK customers to buy, store and sell cryptocurrencies.
This is PayPal's first extension outside of the U.S., where access to cryptocurrencies has been allowed since October 2020. With their PayPal accounts, UK users of this online payment system can make any transactions with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. They are also given access to a wealth of reference and educational information.

Recall that in March this year PayPal announced the Checkout with Crypto service, which allows US customers to use the above cryptocurrencies to pay at all stores that work with PayPal.
In April, the company added the ability to buy and sell digital assets on its mobile online service Venmo.
In July, PayPal raised the digital asset purchase limit for its U.S. customers to $100,000 per week while also announcing that it would launch in the U.K. market in about a month. The promise has been fulfilled.
