Xiaomi unveiled Redmi 10 Prime with 90Hz screen, MediaTek Helio G88 chip and 6000mAh battery for $170
Xiaomi held an event in India today to showcase its new budget smartphone Redmi 10 Prime.
What's known
As expected, the Redmi 10 Prime was a copy of the global version Redmi 10, but the novelty got one significant difference - an increased battery. Instead of 5000 mAh, the smartphone has installed a 6000 mAh battery. It supports 18-watt wired charging and 9-watt reverse charging. At the same time, the smartphone comes with a 22.5W power supply.
As for the other specs, they remain the same. Redmi 10 Prime is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, adaptive refresh rate from 45 to 90 Hz and an 8 MP front-facing camera hole. The main one, on the other hand, got 50 MP + 8 MP (wide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor) sensors.
The MediaTek Helio G88 processor is responsible for the operation of the device. It is paired with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage (expandable with a memory card). The novelty has stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), USB Type-C port, headphone jack and side scanner.
Price and when to expectThe Redmi 10 Prime will launch on September 7 with a price tag starting at $170. The novelty will be available only in India.
