Nubia Red Magic 6s Pro - Snapdragon 888+, 165Hz display up to 18GB RAM, 120W charging and price from $620
Nubia announced a flagship gaming smartphone Red Magic 6s Pro. The novelty was another model on the Snapdragon 888+ processor, and otherwise not much different from the Red Magic 6 Pro.
What has changed?
The smartphone has retained its aluminum body and AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 6.8-inch diagonal and FHD+ resolution, and the sensor poll rate is 720Hz. The peak brightness has increased from 630 nits to 700 nits.
The global version of the Nubia Red Magic 6s Pro got support for 66W charging and a 30W adapter included. The Chinese variant of the smartphone supports 120W fast charging. The touch triggers on the right side of the case remain, but their frequency has increased from 400Hz to 450Hz.
Snapdragon 888+ is quite a hot processor. To prevent the smartphone from overheating, an active cooling system is provided. The fan is equipped with RGB backlight and is almost twice as quiet compared to the last generation, but the airflow has been increased by 30%, according to official data.
Nubia Red Magic 6s Pro retains the stereo speakers, headphone output and 64MP + 8MP + 2MP main camera with 8K ULTRA HD support. The front-facing camera still uses an 8MP image sensor as well. The fingerprint scanner is built into the screen. It has learned to detect heart rate.
