Images of DJI Mavic 3 quadcopter are published

DJI is preparing to introduce a new quadcopter. It will be called DJI Mavic 3. High-quality images of the upcoming product have leaked to the Net.

What did they show?

At first glance seems wrong proportions of the drone. But the rest of the details are in line with what was said earlier.

DJI Mavic 3 will get a camera, consisting of two optical modules with Hasselblad optics. According to preliminary information, it will include a wide-angle unit with an aperture of f/2.8 and a telephoto lens with 7x optical zoom.

The new quadcopter will boast an improved system of evasion from obstacles, support for shooting video in 5.7K format and a storage capacity of 1 TB. Battery life will be up to 40 minutes, but insiders disagree on battery capacity. Some claim that DJI Mavic 3 will get a 5,000mAh battery, while others attribute it to a 6,000mAh battery.

When to expect?

Initial rumors indicated that the drone would be announced in the middle of the fourth quarter of 2021. However, a former DJI employee in a conversation with reporters from DroneDJ stated, that the Mavic 3 will not appear until January 2022.
