Mark Gurman: Apple may completely redesign smartphones for iPhone's 20th anniversary

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple is planning significant changes for the 20th anniversary of the iPhone in 2027.
Here's What We Know
One of the main novelties will be the first foldable iPhone, as well as a new "decisive" redesign of the iPhone Pro model.
This device, if the plans remain unchanged, will be closer to what Jony Ive once envisioned. The designer, who has long advocated the idea of an iPhone that "looks like a single piece of glass," first implemented it with the iPhone X. However, recent Apple models have become thicker and less elegant. Now, it seems that the company is returning to the concept originally planned by Ive.
This direction will begin with the release of the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air this year, and will continue in 2027 on the 20th anniversary of the iPhone with the Pro version.
Mark Gurman notes that the new iPhone 19 Pro will have even more glass. This may sound like a challenge for durability and repair, but it's quite in Apple's style.
There are no official details about the design of the iPhone 19 Pro.
