OnePlus 9RT - Snapdragon 888, 50MP camera, 120Hz screen and ColorOS 12 priced from $510
OnePlus following Xiaomi introduced its flagship smartphone. The new product is called OnePlus 9RT. It will replace the OnePlus 9R, which was released in the first half of the year.
What's different?
OnePlus 9RT has quite a few differences compared to the original device. The main one is the 5nm Snapdragon 888 mobile processor instead of the 7nm Snapdragon 870 chip.
The main camera remained without a 5-megapixel sensor. In OnePlus 9R, it was used for macro photography. In the novelty for this, a 2-megapixel image sensor is involved. The key change in the camera is a 50MP sensor of 1/1.56" type instead of the 48MP optical ½" sensor. The optical stabilization and 16MP module with ultra-wide angle lens remain.
Another difference is in the screen. It still has a resolution of FHD + and refresh rate of 120 Hz. But instead of Fluid AMOLED panel measuring 6.55" diagonally, a 6.62" Samsung E4 (OLED) sensor is used.
The rest of the specifications have migrated from OnePlus 9R to OnePlus 9RT. We are talking about stereo speakers, a 16MP front-facing camera, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, USB-C, NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The battery capacity too was 4,500mAh and the fast charging power was 65W.
Pricing and availability
The novelty will go on sale with ColorOS 12 firmware, but so far on the operating system Android 11. Black and silver colors will be available on the market since October 19, and on November 1 they will be accompanied by the blue color of the body (only in the top modification).
