Rumor: OPPO's first foldable smartphone to be unveiled next month
OPPO has been working on its first commercial foldable smartphone for some time now. It was supposed to be released in early 2022, but it seems that this is not the case.

According to the Chinese insider from the social network Weibo, the manufacturer plans to present the novelty as early as next month. If the information is accurate, OPPO will soon start teasing the device.
Recall that OPPO's first foldable smartphone should receive a form factor of a book. That is, the device will compete Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Huawei Mate X2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold.
The main screen of the device will have an OLED panel with a diagonal of 8 inches. The display will get 2K resolution as well as support for 120Hz picture refresh rate. Under the hood gadget will be installed processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The novelty is also credited with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a main camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor, a 32 MP front-facing camera and a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
