Microsoft has (again) resurrected Paperclip, this time in the form of stickers in Teams
The character Paperclip began his life in Office 97, politely offering hints on how to use Microsoft Office software. People had mixed reactions to the wormy assistant, and Paperclip's existence as such ended in 2001 with the release of Office XP. Today, many users remember Paperclip fondly, seeing it as the forerunner of modern intelligent assistants like Siri or Alexa.
All the more pleasant for these users will know that Microsoft is bringing back Paperclip to Microsoft Teams. True, this time in the form of a stickerpack that includes many different variations of the anthropomorphic paperclip.

"Yes, it's true - Paperclip has agreed to return to work!" - explains Microsoft, confirming the character's return to Microsoft Teams. "Whether you loved him or hated him, Paperclip is back with a retro sticker pack in Teams."
The new set of retro stickers is very similar to the same stickers the Microsoft team created for Teams over two years ago. Microsoft representatives quickly shut down the project that time, and a source in the developer ranks said that the company's "brand police" were unhappy with the appearance of Staples in Microsoft Teams.
