Xpeng G9: electric crossover SUV with a range of 200 km in 5 minutes of charging and a 5-star NCAP safety rating
Xpeng, considered one of the main rivals of Tesla in China, announced its flagship electric car, the G9, at an exhibition in Guangzhou.

The Xpeng G9 is a crossover with a minimalist design that is built on the proprietary platform. The novelty boasts XPILOT 4.0 technology ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)... According to the manufacturer, this is an advanced driver assistance system, which as close as possible to a full-fledged autopilot. Two processors are responsible for its work. NVIDIA Tegra Orin-X, lidars, and various cameras.
Of the interesting things, the crossover also has the XPeng X-EEA 3.0 platform. It combines the hardware and software parts of the car. Thanks to her, the car will be updated by air in 30 minutes. The manufacturer also claims that the Xpeng G9 has a new generation XPower 3.0 power plant with support for 800 V. With it, the crossover will be able to travel 200 km in just 5 minutes of charging. In terms of safety, the car received 5 stars (maximum rating) in the C-NCAP and E-NCAP tests.
Unfortunately, other specifications and price tag of the auto manufacturer have not yet reveals. It is only known that the Xpeng G9 is planned to be launched on the market in the third quarter of 2022. The car should appear in Europe.
