The first smartphone with a 200 MP camera will not be shown by Xiaomi - it will be overtaken by Motorola

V early September Samsung unveils 200MP ISOCELL HP1 image sensor - first in world image sensor for smartphones, the resolution of which is 200 MP (16 384×12 288 points). But not yet one of manufacturers not presented a finished device with such a sensor.

Earlier it was expected that the first smartphone with 200 megapixel camera released by Xiaomi - the Chinese company loves such marketing moves. V the future flagship Xiaomi 12 Ultra was named as a candidate. But today the famous Ice Universe insider shared in social networks with completely different information.

By according to him, the first smartphone with sensor Samsung ISOCELL HP1 will not belong to Xiaomi, and the Motorola brand. What kind of smartphone it will be - not specified, but not it is possible that this is Moto Edge X, which should receive the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. Its announcement is expected before end of the year.

200MP camera will be adopted by Moto first, then by Xiaomi in the second half of next year, and by 2023, Samsung will adopt 200MP.
