Vivo is preparing to release the flagship iQOO 9 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 120W charging and 120Hz screen

Vivo plans to launch a new flagship smartphone under the iQOO brand. Thanks to a Chinese insider, it became known what specifications the device will receive.

What to wait

The device will be called iQOO 9. The novelty will receive an AMOLED display at 120 Hz with a new proprietary chip that will be responsible for displaying the picture. A 4-nanometer processor will be installed under the hood of the smartphone Snapdragon 8 Gen 1that works on architecture ARMv9. Also, iQOO 9 will be able to boast a camera with a proprietary 5-axis stabilization, side buttons for games, a Dual X-axis vibration motor and stereo speakers.

When to expect

The iQOO 9 release is due in China in January. The device is likely to be presented along with the iQOO 9 Pro model.
