Huawei will release a new version of the Mate 40 Pro 14 months after the original announcement
In the middle of autumn 2020, Huawei announced the flagship Mate 40 family. 14 months after the premiere, it will be replenished with another model.
What is known
The model is called Huawei Mate 40E Pro. It has the number NOH-AN50 and should be announced by the end of 2022. It will be equipped with a Kirin 990E single-chip system with support for fifth-generation cellular networks. The same chip is used in the Huawei Mate 30E Pro.
The rest of the technical characteristics of the smartphone have not yet been specified. But if they do not differ from the original model, we will see the main camera with a resolution of 50 MP + 20 MP + 12 MP, a 13 MP front camera with a ToF sensor, a 4400 mAh battery and stereo sound. Also of note are the 6.76 ”OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate, 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As a reminder, the Huawei Mate 40 family includes several smartphones. In addition to the standard edition of the same name, last year Huawei announced the Mate 40E, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro + and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design models.
