Google will collect all data from the public internet to train its artificial intelligence

Google has updated its privacy policy, reserving the right to examine all public internet data to build its artificial intelligence tools.

The new wording changes the existing policy, describing new ways the tech giant's AI tools can use texts on the public internet to work.

"For example, we use publicly available information to help train Google’s AI models and build products and features like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities," the new policy says.

Google had previously said it used data "for language models" rather than "AI models". Also, the old policy only mentioned Google Translate, but now includes Bard and Cloud AI.
