Alibaba launches AI tool to generate images from text

Chinese tech giant Alibaba has launched Tongyi Wanxiang, an artificial intelligence tool capable of generating images from text cues.

Tongyi Wanxiang allows you to enter cues in Chinese and English, and the artificial intelligence generates images in different styles.

"With the release of Tongyi Wanxiang, high-quality generative AI imagery will become more accessible, facilitating the development of innovative AI art and creative expressions for businesses across a wide range of sectors," said Alibaba Cloud Intelligence CTO Jingren Zhou.

According to the company, the tool is available for beta testing to corporate customers in China.
