Microsoft has opened up access to the Bing artificial intelligence chatbot to users of the Chrome and Safari browsers "to select users as part of the testing"
Here's What We Know
Bing Chat has a few limitations in third-party browsers. The chatbot is not available to unauthorised users. Also, the number of characters in prompts is limited to 2,000 versus 4,000 in Edge. Conversations are cut off after five rather than 30 prompts.
In addition to the release for other browsers, Microsoft introduced a dark mode for Bing Chat. To use it, you have to click on the hamburger menu in the top right corner and select "Appearance/Dark." This feature is not yet available to all users.
