Google has improved AI search by giving out videos and better links

Google's Search Generative Experience search engine, powered by artificial intelligence, has learnt to produce images and videos in its results.

When the SGE feature is activated in Search Labs, users can see more media in a colourful box at the top of search results. Google is also working to make it appear faster and add more context to links.

Also, the summary next to three articles now shows their publication dates. The company says this will help users gauge the relevance of information from those web pages.

Google is also experimenting with adding embedded links to AI summaries.
