Google has released updates for Android, Wear OS and Google TV that bring new features to the respective gadgets.

Here's What We Know

Android has introduced a tool for people with visual impairments. It uses AI to generate descriptions of images, which are then read out by the TalkBack feature. The Live Caption feature has also been expanded to improve accessibility, allowing you to take calls without sound.

The Wear OS update brings new smart home control options from the watch: switching on lights, alerting devices of your presence and more. Google Assistant routines and Assistant At a Glance shortcut have also been added to the smartwatch.

Android smartwatches will get the Emoji Kitchen update. Users will be able to mix emoji and share them with friends as stickers via Gboard.

Google Messages for Android is also getting a minor update. The beta version has a feature that lets you add unique backgrounds and animated emoji to voice messages.

As for Google TV, it has added 10 free online channels. As of now, the total number of them has surpassed 800.

Google has already started rolling out the updates. However, it may take up to a few weeks for the announced features to appear for specific users.
