Google will rename Bard to Gemini and launch a dedicated app - leaked

Google plans to rename its artificial intelligence chatbot Bard to Gemini and release a separate mobile app for Android. The changes will take effect as early as this week, according to documents leaked online.
Here's What We Know
Android app developer Dylan Roussel discovered the Change Log, dated February 7. It also notes that the paid Gemini Advanced tier will become available at that time.

The availability in Canada is awesome! That said I don't really understand the limitations with the app. That's disappointing as someone who lives in Europe.

According to the document, Gemini Advanced will give users access to the Gemini Ultra 1.0 model, which is "much better at complex tasks such as coding, logical thinking, following subtle instructions and creative collaboration." It will be available in over 150 countries and is initially optimised for English.
The changelog also states that Gemini will be available in Canada with this release.
