Honor has unexpectedly announced a new budget tablet in the global market.

Here's What We Know

The tablet has been named Honor Pad X8 Lite and it appears to be a renamed version of the Honor Tab 7, which debuted in China a year ago. The device got a 9.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280×800p, a MediaTek Helio P22T processor and 32 GB of internal memory. The number of RAM manufacturer has not been disclosed. The tablet is equipped with two cameras: a front one at 2 MP and one main one at 5 MP. The device runs on the outdated Android 10 operating system and has a proprietary shell Magic UI 6.1. The gadget is powered by a battery of 5100 mAh. The novelty has Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The tablet is charged through the micro USB port.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Honor Pad X8 Lite has already appeared on the manufacturer's official website, but the price and launch date of the tablet is not yet available. According to rumors, it will cost less than $200.
