Xiaomi Book Air 13 - very lightweight and ultra-slim laptop-transformer with a 2.8K OLED display and Intel Alder Lake processors at a price of $690

Xiaomi has unveiled a laptop based on Intel's Alder Lake generation processors. The novelty is called Xiaomi Book Air 13.

Here's What We Know

The laptop has become the most compact model in the range of the Chinese manufacturer. It is 12 mm thick and weighs 1.2 kg. The novelty received two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a fingerprint scanner, an 8 MP webcam and a battery with a capacity of 58.3Wh.

The cover of the Xiaomi Book Air 13 hinges 360 degrees and allows you to use the laptop as a tablet computer. It uses an OLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 dots and a 13.3" diagonal. The screen supports input using a stylus.

The base version of the model is equipped with a Core i5-1230U chip. The top version got the Core i7-1250U. Both processors are made on 10nm technology. The RAM capacity is 16 GB (LPDDR5) and SSD capacity is 512 GB regardless of the modification.

Price

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 with Core i5 chip costs $690. You can buy the Core i7 model for $775. The start of sales is scheduled for October 31. There is no information about going global.
