Acer introduced gaming notebooks Nitro with Intel Raptor Lake chips and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards cost from $ 1200
Taiwan manufacturer Acer announced a new generation of gaming notebooks Nitro at the annual CES exhibition in Las Vegas. The series includes models Nitro 17 and Nitro 16.
Here's What We Know
The model with a 16" screen supports a 165 Hz refresh rate, has 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and an RGB backlit keyboard. The screen resolution is WUXGA or WQXGA.
The notebook with a 17" display offers customers a QHD panel with a frame rate of exclusively 165 Hz or FHD with a frame rate of 144 Hz / 165 Hz. An RGB backlit keyboard is also present.
The Acer Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 have onboard Intel introduced Raptor Lake mobile processors with 24-core Core i9-13980HX at the head processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards on Ada Lovelace architecture. There's a maximum of 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage capacity. In addition, the gaming laptops get Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, microSD slot and dual fans.
Price & When We Can Expect It
In the U.S., both models will cost $1200 in base configuration, and sales will start in May. In Europe, the Acer Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 will be available from €1499 ($1590) and €1599 ($1700) respectively.
