Samsung unveils One UI 5.1 shell for Galaxy S23 and other flagships
In addition to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra flagships, Samsung also revealed the One UI 5.1 shell at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 launch.
Here's What's New About It
The new version of the interface is based on the Android 13 operating system. An improved Samsung Notes app has been installed in the firmware. Thanks to a partnership with Google, the Korean manufacturer has added the ability to collaborate on documents during Google Meet video calls.
Developers have also improved the integration of Galaxy smartphones with Galaxy Book laptops. Device owners will be able to use the Galaxy Book mouse, keyboard or trackpad to copy, paste text and transfer images from computer to phone. Also with One UI 5.1, Samsung has combined the standard camera app with Expert RAW (only on top-of-the-line Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Fold 4 smartphones). One UI 5.1 also has improved security and added English language support for Bixby Text Call.
When We Can Expect It
For now, One UI 5.1 is only available on Galaxy S23 smartphones. Other models will get the shell a little later.
