POCO C55: 6.71″ display, MediaTek Helio G85 processor, IP52 protection and 5000mAh battery for $115
Xiaomi, as promised, has today announced a new budget smartphone under the POCO brand in India.

The new product has been named POCO C55. The gadget has become a renamed version of the Redmi 12C smartphone, which debuted in China in late December. In the global market the novelty will be shown next week.
The POCO C55 has a large 6.71-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz sensor reading rate. The screen is covered by Panda Glass protective glass. The novelty comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB storage and a 5000mAh battery. It charges using the included 10W charger. The device also has a memory card slot, IP52 protection, a fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack.
As for the cameras, there are 3: a dual 50 MP main + 2 MP and a single 5 MP front. Out of the box, the smartphone has the Android 12 operating system with the MIUI 13 shell.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the POCO C55 will start in India on February 28. The novelty will cost from $115.
