HTC recently announced a new smartphone with the specifications of a budget device - the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite. Now the company is back with a new and slightly more powerful model - the HTC Wildfire E2 Play.
Technical Characteristics
The smartphone features a massive 6.82-inch IPS display with a teardrop cutout, 720×1640 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. Inside is a Unisoc T606 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The 128GB storage can be expanded with a microSD card.
For selfies, there is an 8 MP front camera. The main camera consists of four modules: 48 MP main sensor, 5 MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2 MP macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor.
The smartphone runs on Android 12 operating system. The 4,600mAh battery supports 10W charging. Other features include 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Unfortunately, the HTC Wildfire E2 Play's price is unknown for now. Although it has some rather odd specs, the smartphone is likely to be in the mid-price segment.
