Mobvoi, after months of rumours, leaks and teasers, has announced a new flagship smartwatch.

Here's What We Know

The new one has been named the TicWatch Pro 5. It is the first smartwatch on the market to feature the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor. The chip was revealed a year ago. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The watch is equipped with a 1.43-inch dual display. The main layer has an AMOLED matrix and the additional layer is IPS. The screen supports Always On function and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass tempered glass. The case of the device is made of 7000-series aluminium and high-strength glass-fibre nylon. The watch is water resistant (5ATM) and shock resistant to MIL-STD-810H.

The novelty features many sensors for tracking sports and health indicators, a microphone, a speaker, and a 628 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, it will last up to 80 hours of use. With Essential Mode, the battery life can be extended to 45 days. The TicWatch Pro 5 supports fast charging (from 0 to 65% in 30 minutes). The gadget comes with the Wear OS 3.5 operating system.

The TicWatch Pro 5 is already available for purchase on Mobvoi's official website. The watch is available in one colour and costs $349.
