Apple Watch Ultra 2 - the most colourful smartwatch in the company's history with a new chip and 72 hours of battery life, priced from $799

Apple has announced the second generation of the Watch Ultra smart watch. As expected, the model is called Apple Watch Ultra 2 and will not differ externally from the 2022 gadget.

Here's What We Know

Apple Watch Ultra 2 is equipped with a new processor. The chip is called Apple S9 and has 5.6 billion transistors, which is 60% more than in previous generations of CPUs. GPU performance has increased by 30 per cent and the 4-core Neural Engine has added 100 per cent to the performance.

One of the main features of the wearable gadget was the peak brightness, which increased to 3000 nits. Apple Watch Ultra 2 has become the brightest smart watch in the history of the American company. The case of the watch is made of recycled titanium.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 works for 36 hours without recharging in normal mode. If you activate the energy saving mode, you will have to charge the smartwatch about once every three days.

Like the Appe Watch Series 9, the Ultra has Double Tap gesture support. The watch can recognise a double tap of the index finger and thumb. This feature will not be available immediately, but only next month.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Apple Watch Ultra 2 is available for pre-order and sales will start on 22 September 2023. The next-generation smartwatch was priced from $799.
