Dutch fourth-generation F-16AM/BM fighters arrived in Romania for training of the Ukrainian pilots

The first F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters have already arrived in Romania to train Ukrainian pilots. The fourth-generation aircraft were handed over by the Netherlands.

Here's What We Know

Training of Ukrainian pilots will take place in the centre created by Lockheed Martin with the support of the Netherlands and Denmark. Ukrainian pilots will be trained on F-16s in Block 20 MLU configuration.

The Netherlands has sent to Romania three F-16AMs with flight numbers J-010, J-019 and J-366, and two F-16BMs with numbers J-064 and J-210. The oldest fighter (last on the list) was built in 1986.
