Amazon cancelled the commission for Ukrainian business in the EU and the UK for a year

Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be able to sell goods in the European Union and the UK through Amazon platform without commission.

A few months ago, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Disqover Agency, Startup Ukraine and "Ukrposta" appealed to Amazon with a request to ease the conditions of business for Ukrainian entrepreneurs. As a result, Amazon EU and Amazon UK cancel referral fees for Ukrainian businesses.

In simple words, entrepreneurs who sell their products through Amazon in the EU and the UK are completely exempt from paying commission. The decision came into force on September 6. The zero commission will be in effect for one year. On average, the service takes a commission of 15%.

This decision of Amazon will allow Ukrainian businesses to scale to the European and British markets. According to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, the new conditions are a victory for Ukraine on the economic front.
