Russian customers cannot receive Baikal and Elbrus processors because suppliers refuse to ship them to Russia.
Here's What We Know
Firms that produce chips ordered by Russian companies are already refusing not only to fulfill contracts, but also to supply finished products. This is reported in the Russian media, citing the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadaev.
In late winter, Baikal Electronics, along with joint-stock companies MCST and SPC Elvis, were added to the sanctions list of the United States export control. Because of this the foreign companies stopped producing processors under orders from Russia, and after a while they refused to send finished products at all.
