HMD Global has been producing Nokia smartphones for 6 years and now it is going to expand its portfolio with its own brand.
Here's What We Know
This was announced by HMD Global co-founder, chairman and CEO Jean-Francois Baril. On his LinkedIn page, the executive revealed that HMD and Nokia phones will co-exist, and customers should expect to collaborate "with exciting new partners."
Unfortunately, there are no release dates for the devices and no details about the new products yet. We can only assume that they will be low-cost smartphones with support for the fifth-generation network (5G).
