Insider: OnePlus to release its first foldable smartphone in August

We've written more than once that OnePlus is set to unveil its first foldable smartphone later this year. Now a tentative release date has emerged online.

When We Can Expect It

According to German insider @MaxJmb, the device will be unveiled in August. That is three months from now.

If the leaks are to be believed, the novelty will not be a copy of the OPPO Find N2. The smartphone will look more like a foldable Samsung Galaxy Fold device. Also, the novelty will be equipped with a flagship Qualcomm/MediaTek processor and a battery with support for proprietary SuperVOOC charging. Unfortunately, no other details about the device are yet available.
