Confirmed: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will run on an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip
The yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra flagship tablet has been spotted in the Geekbench performance test database.
Here's What We Know
The novelty comes with the model number SM-X910. The leak confirms previous rumours. The gadget will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip on board. The same SoC is found in the Galaxy S23 smartphones. It differs from the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 version with an overclocked to 3.36GHz Prime core frequency. The tablet will also get 12GB of RAM. The novelty will run out of the box with Android 13 operating system and One UI 5.1 or One UI 5.1.1.
Incidentally, if previous leaks are to be believed, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will also feature a 14.6-inch screen with 2960×1848p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will also get IP68 water protection and an 11200mAh battery with fast charging support.
When We Can Expect It
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra along with the other models in the series at a launch in July.
