Dynamic Driver X, HiRes Audio, IPX4 protection and up to 24 hour battery life: New details of the Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones have surfaced online
German publication Winfuture, together with insider @rquandt, have published new details about the Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones.
Here's What We Know
So, the novelty will get Dynamic Driver X at 8.4mm and two proprietary chips. The headphones will also be equipped with an increased number of microphones. They will be responsible for the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature. The headphones will get HiRes Audio support, DSEE Extreme technology, and IPX4 protection against water droplets and sweat. The novelty will be lighter and more compact. The Sony WF-1000XM5 will connect to smartphones and other devices via Bluetooth 5.3. Battery life will be up to 24 hours (with case).
