6.56" screen, Snapdragon 480+ chip, side scanner and 50 MP camera: Nokia G42 5G specifications and renders have surfaced online

HMD Global is set to unveil a new budget smartphone, the G-series.

Here's What We Know

According to the leak, the novelty will be called Nokia G42 5G. The gadget will get a 6.56-inch display with HD+ resolution, V-cut, 560 nits brightness and Croning Gorilla Glass 3.

The novelty will be powered by a Snapdragon 480+ processor paired with 4/6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone will feature a microSD slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP52-protected body, a 3.5mm jack, a 50 MP + 2 MP dual main camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera. The novelty will come with a 5000 mAh battery and 20-watt charger.

Price & When We Can Expect It

HMD Global will unveil the Nokia G42 5G soon. The novelty will cost up to $300.
