Xiaomi is already working on Redmi Note 13 smartphones, but don't expect them anytime soon

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 12 range of smartphones (pictured) last October. And now the manufacturer is working on the next generation, the Redmi Note 13.

Here's What We Know

Information about the unannounced smartphone has appeared in the IMEI database. More specifically, there are only 3 codenames: 2312DRAABC, 2312DRAABG and 2312DRAABI. For reference, the suffixes of these numbers confirm that these are Chinese, Global and Indian models respectively. The Redmi Note 13 is most likely the one in question, though it's possible that the Redmi Note 13 Pro is hiding under these numbers.

In addition, the numbers in the model numbers indicate the month and year when Xiaomi plans to unveil the smartphone. In this case, it's December 2023. It is likely that Xiaomi will first announce the novelty in the Chinese market, while the versions for India and the global market will debut a few months later - already in the first half of 2024.

Unfortunately, no other information about the Redmi Note 13 is available yet.
