Google Pixel Watch 2 has surfaced in high-quality renders with new metal straps

Our colleagues at 9to5Google have snapped some high-quality images of the new Google Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch.

Here's What We've Seen

The leak confirms previous rumours. The novelty will get exactly the same design as the current Pixel Watch model. Of the differences of the novelty can be distinguished only new metal straps: Metal Slim and Metal Mesh.

As for the specifications, the Pixel Watch 2 will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, increased to 306 mAh battery and 1.2-inch OLED-display with a resolution of 384×384 pixels produced by Samsung Display instead of BOE. The novelty will support ultra-wideband (UWB). The gadget will enter the market with Wear OS 4 based on Android 13.

When to expect

The Pixel Watch 2 will be presented on the 4th of October. The watch will debut alongside the Pixel 8 line of smartphones.
